Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal proudly acquired the first Aston Martin DB12 to hit the Indian roads in September 2023. This magnificent GT machine from the British supercar manufacturer came with a hefty price tag of Rs 4.59 crore.
Goyal’s new ride featured a striking Satin Aston Martin Racing Green paint job, as showcased on Instagram by ‘Automobili Ardent India’.
“The very first Aston Martin DB12 in the country! Delivered through Aston Martin New Delhi, this beauty is painted in Satin Aston Martin Racing Green. What a sight it is in the sunlight,” the post stated.
This eye-catching machine flaunts a sleek Satin Aston Martin Racing Green paint job and rides on impressive 21-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
However, the real power lies under the hood. The DB12 is equipped with a powerful 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-Benz. This powerhouse generates an incredible 680 bhp and 800 Nm of torque, controlled by an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.
This enables Goyal to go from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.6 seconds, all while enjoying the luxurious interior of his new Aston Martin.
Prior to this, Ashneer Grover, a former judge on Shark Tank India and co-founder of BharatPe, claimed that Deepinder Goyal had a habit of buying sports cars after each funding round.
“I am passionate about cars, and it’s not just me, it’s everyone. Like Zomato’s founder Deepinder, he was most passionate about cars. Whenever he raised a new round, a new sports car would arrive for him, and we would get a little annoyed,” he mentioned in a podcast.
