SOLO Modular Temp Controllers from AutomationDirect

September 27, 2023 – AutomationDirect has introduced affordable SOLO modular temperature controllers with the same features as the standard controllers.

The SOLO modular temperature controllers have a convenient snap-together design, allowing users to add channels as needed. Each channel can be customized with a different control mode and output type, making it possible to tailor the system to specific application requirements.

These controllers support up to eight independent control loops, with each loop supporting various input and output options such as thermocouple, RTD, mA, mV, voltage, current, voltage pulse, or relay. They also come with a second relay output for alarm or dual heating and cooling applications. The controllers support multiple control modes and alarm modes, and can be configured using the free SL-SOFT SOLO configuration and monitoring software and the built-in Modbus RS-485 communications port.

The new SOLO modular temperature controllers are UL listed, CE marked, and RoHS compliant. The main module and extension modules are priced at $79.00 each, and all components come with a 2-year warranty.
