OpenAI Faces Turmoil

Kyutai Raises Funding for AI Research
Paris-based non-profit laboratory Kyutai raised $330 million to support open research in AI. The laboratory aims to tackle the challenges of modern AI by developing large multimodal models and inventing new algorithms. It will use Scaleway’s supercomputer, which has the highest-performance computing power for AI applications in Europe.
