Yale Home has introduced the Yale Assure Lock 2 Touch, the first smart lock with a built-in fingerprint reader. They have also released the Assure Lock 2 Plus, a smart lock compatible with Apple’s Home Key feature. Both locks are now available for purchase.

Assure Lock 2 Touch: Unlocking with a Fingertip
The Assure Lock 2 Touch expands on the new Yale Home security platform by adding a fingerprint reader to the lock. The reader is integrated into the lock’s Yale logo, allowing for easy locking and unlocking with a fingertip. The lock can store up to 20 different fingerprints, providing touch access for the whole family.
Depending on the chosen model, the lock can also be operated using a PIN code, voice assistant, physical key, or the Yale Access app.
