This time last year 2021, we launched our first Cloud Engineering cohort – furthering Kubrick’s expansion into accelerating areas of next-generation technology.
Since the pandemic in 2020, digital transformation has become a hot topic as organisations of all sizes race to move operations to the cloud. However, there is a severe lack of Cloud Engineers that can support organisations with their needs.
Our Cloud Engineering programme is designed to equip graduates and junior professionals with the technical skills and knowledge required to digitally transform any organisation, and since launching the practice in 2021 we’ve trained 60+ Cloud Engineers.
During the training, you’ll be introduced to the core components of Cloud Engineering, such as how to develop and deploy Microservices and Cloud serverless functions in Python with SQL/NoSQL, and how to build data-centric applications using cloud and serverless APIs, and more.
In this video, Cloud Engineer Shijo Varghese, who was part of that first cohort, explains what the cloud is, how it’s used in the wider market, the role of a Cloud Engineer, and the types of things you’d be expected to do if you were to pursue a career in this area of technology.
No prior technology experience is required to join our Cloud Engineering practice as we’ll teach you everything during the 15 weeks of training, and we’ll pay you a salary from day one, making it an accessible option for all.
