NPRC is training its students on the most current technology and equipment used in our region’s manufacturing industry. A Universal Robotics unit that performs advanced industrial automation processes such as sizing, stacking, and removal and installation of parts in an automated manufacturing system was purchased by NPRC for use in hands-on labs. During these labs, students will work with this unit and PLC boards to learn the electrical safety, theory of operation, communication protocols, and diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures a technician may encounter.
