Additionally, Cloud Software Group will be investing $1.65 billion in the Microsoft cloud and its generative AI capabilities.
This partnership will strengthen the enduring alliance between Citrix, a business unit of Cloud Software Group, and Microsoft. Citrix will be the preferred Microsoft Global Azure Partner solution for Enterprise Desktop as a Service when working with joint Azure customers. Both companies will provide support and tailored solutions to accelerate customers’ cloud journeys.
Citrix will utilize Microsoft Azure as its preferred cloud solution, offering Citrix customers the comprehensive benefits of the Citrix platform along with Azure Virtual Desktop and Windows 365. The partnership will also provide easier procurement options through Azure Marketplace for customers to evaluate, expand, or renew Citrix solutions.
Sridhar Mullapudi, GM at Citrix, stated: “As organizations adopt flexible work models, empowering employees with secure and innovative solutions for enhanced productivity is crucial. The partnership between Citrix and Microsoft brings together both companies’ strengths to deliver unmatched value and innovation to our customers.”
